Jonathan B. Ross

Jonathan Ross is a partner in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office, practising primarily in the areas of commercial restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency. Jonathan also practises security realizations, including enforcement against personal property and real estate.

Jonathan's lender clients include Canadian chartered banks, credit unions, specialty lenders and individuals. His debtor clients have included large and mid-sized public and private companies, various small businesses and professionals in challenging financial circumstances. Jonathan has also acted for purchasers of distressed assets as well as insolvency professionals in their various roles in insolvency proceedings.

All of Jonathan's clients rely on him for timely and practical advice on everything from complex restructurings to bankruptcy to collection matters.

Jonathan joined the Vancouver office of Gowling WLG founding firm Gowling Lafleur Henderson in 2010. Previously, he practised and articled at a major Canadian firm in Vancouver.

While in law school, Jonathan served as vice-president (academic) of the University of British Columbia Law Students' Society. He is the founding commissioner of the Pavol Demitra Memorial Hockey Pool.
