Jordan Rivera

Jordan Rivera is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Jordan is going into his third year of completing his JD at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law. During his studies, Jordan has connected with the Kingston community and enhanced his business law experience through the Queen’s Business Law Clinic. Jordan has taken an interest in areas of business law such as bankruptcy and insolvency, corporate finance and corporate governance, hoping to round out his knowledge with further coursework in these areas in his final year.

Prior to entering law school, Jordan completed his HBA at Carleton University in Law, with a concentration in business law. Jordan has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies at Humber College, and worked closely with a licensed paralegal.

Jordan will focus his summer term in the firm’s Business Law Department.
