Julie d’Auteuil

Julie d’Auteuil is an associate at Gowling WLG’s Montreal office.

With a strong interest in Indigenous law, Julie chaired the Indigenous Law Committee at the Université de Montréal and helped to create the Indigenous Law Writing Competition sponsored by Gowling WLG.

Before pursuing her bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Montréal, Julie earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from McGill University and a master’s degree in international studies at the Institute for Advanced International Studies (HEI). She also studied international relations (international security) at Aberystwyth University (UK).

While pursuing her MA, Julie interned at Global Affairs Canada as a Canadian economic policy junior analyst. In addition to being a student, Julie served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a military police officer.
