Justin M. Tremblay

Justin M. Tremblay is a bilingual associate lawyer in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, as well as administrative and commercial law.

Corporate and individual clients rely on Justin for his advice on a wide range of civil and commercial matters such as contractual disputes, tax litigation with the Canada Revenue Agency, injunction relief proceedings, complex family estate disputes, compensation claims and more. Justin has pleaded in front of multiple levels of Court including various administrative tribunals, the Small Claims Court, Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada.

Justin worked on various enforcement matters and was successful in resolving sizable settlements for clients. He regularly manages files for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and Mutual Funds Dealers Association of Canada, amongst others.

Justin provides guidance on an array of corporate and commercial matters including incorporation, restructuring, corporate governance and shareholder disputes. Aided by his business and financial background, Justin’s clients appreciate his commitment to long-term growth and success.

The client experience is also important to Justin. This means early case assessment, regular reporting, effective budgeting and vigorous representation.  Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Justin worked at the Department of Justice while also volunteering to assist financially challenged individuals in various legal claims.

Justin holds a Juris Doctor and a bachelor of commerce as well as certifications in financial trading, private equity and venture capital.
