Justine Simoneau

Justine Simoneau is an associate in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, where she practises in the area of advertising, marketing and regulatory law. Justine first joined Gowling WLG as a law student in 2019 and, subsequently, as an articling student, before being hired as an associate in 2022.

Justine holds a combined BCL/LLB from McGill University, and completed a semester abroad at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Law in fall 2019. During law school, Justine also worked at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, where she conducted legal research for the general public.

Passionate about foreign policy, Justine founded the Student Forum on Foreign Policy at McGill's Faculty of Law, which she led from August 2018 to December 2020. As president, she oversaw the publication of articles written by members for the Forum's website, which analyzed how international news affects Quebec and Canada.

She practises law in both English and French.
