Kaedyn Lashley

Kaedyn Lashley is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office. She is currently a 1L student enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba.

Upon entering law school, Kaedyn was the recipient of the E.J. McMurray Trust Fund Award.

Throughout 1L, Kaedyn volunteered with the Winnipeg Children’s Access Agency and W.I.S.E Manitoba, facilitating youth workshops on consent. She also acted as the Internal Communication Representative for the Black Law Student Association.

Prior to law school, Kaedyn obtained a bachelor of arts in criminology from the University of Manitoba, graduating on the Dean’s List. Throughout university, she represented Team Canada in rhythmic gymnastics, participating in many international competitions, including the University Games in Taipei.

In addition to her passion for law, Kaedyn enjoys baking and travelling.
