Kate Yurkovich

Kate Yurkovich is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Financial Services Group. Kate works on a broad range of commercial matters, with an emphasis on lending and insolvency.

Kate graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. While attending law school, Kate worked closely with the International Humanitarian Law faction of the Canadian Red Cross through her role as president of the John E. Read International Law Society. Kate also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and was a member of the Jessup Moot team.

Prior to attending law school, Kate completed an honours bachelor of commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, with a major in global management studies. Kate spent one year of her undergraduate studies in Seoul, South Korea, at Chung-Ang University.
