Kristen Price

Kristen Price is an articling student at Gowling WLG’s Waterloo office.

Kristen completed her Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) and Rotman@Law certification at the University of Toronto. She also completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Durham (UK), where she was awarded the Forsters Prize in Land Law for ranking in the 99th percentile of the class.

Kristen served as President of Lawyers Without Borders (Durham Student Division) and led the university’s first team to victory in the Rule of Law Innovation Challenge. As the winning project, her resources for victims of domestic and gender-based violence in Kenya were further developed in collaboration with Lawyers Without Borders’ pro bono partners and published by FIDA-Kenya.

Kristen earned her Canadian Securities Course (CSC) credential from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). The CSC is the foundational financial services credential for securities licensing by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) and under provincial regulation.

In her free time, Kristen enjoys snowboarding and rugby. Having studied visual arts in her youth, Kristen also loves painting, graphic design and travelling to museums around the world.
