Lauren Mar

Lauren Mar is an associate in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office and a member of the firm's Indigenous Law Group.

Lauren completed her JD at the University of Victoria.

During her legal studies, Lauren worked for Native Counselling Services of Alberta as a law and policy researcher, creating resources and compiling supports for Indigenous youth transitioning out of foster care. In her final year at UVic Law, Lauren completed a co-op term at a boutique Aboriginal law firm and conducted water law research for professors Deborah Curran and Martin Olszynski.

Prior to law school, Lauren completed a Bachelor of Science in environmental and conservation sciences at the University of Alberta.
