Lauren Richardson

Lauren Richardson is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Lauren completed her bachelor of laws in the graduate LLB stream at the University of Edinburgh. During her studies, she served as a committee member for the Graduate Law Society.

Lauren has held regulatory positions focused on new substances notifications for pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies, as well as chemical and polymer distribution.  

Prior to entering law school, Lauren studied pharmacology and biomedical toxicology at the University of Toronto. As a summer student for a large multinational pharmaceutical corporation, Lauren gained valuable experience in both the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology sectors. In addition to her scholastic pursuits, Lauren captained and competed nationally for the Varsity Blues Rowing Team.

Lauren is an avid cyclist and rower, and has recently discovered an interest in the game of golf.
