Lewis Broome

Lewis Broome is an Associate in Gowling WLG's corporate team. He advises on a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, solvent restructuring, indirect real estate, private equity and joint ventures.

Experience

  • Acting for a housing association on an innovative property related joint venture agreement with the investment arm of an insurance business structured through both an LLP and SPV to acquire, develop, manage and sell several thousand new affordable homes and other properties.
  • Acting for St Modwen Developments on the asset sale of its 1,050-acre photovoltaic park in Baglan Bay, Port Talbot, the largest photovoltaic park on a brownfield site in Wales.
  • Advising IT solutions provider Specialist Computer Centres plc on its acquisition of Vohkus Limited (a £100 million turnover IT reseller).
  • Advising the Swedish publicly listed infrastructure technology group, Sdiptech AB, on its acquisition of specialist EV charging point designer and manufacturers Rolec Services Limited and One Stop Europe Ltd.
  • Acting on BGF's exit of its investment of CHS Healthcare, a provider of outsourced services for the NHS and social care, after a successful three-year investment period.
  • Advising on the exit of shareholders from an independent homebuilding business and assisting on the related Group reorganisation to simplify the group structure following the exit.
