Lorenzo Bonera

Lorenzo Bonera is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practising in the Real Estate Group.  Lorenzo’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, secured lending and leasing. He also has experience advising on asset and share transactions.

Lorenzo has strong ties to Italy and works with clients on a variety of matters involving Canada and Italy, including the management and disposition of assets as well as international estate administration. Lorenzo also advises Italian nationals and companies looking to do business in Canada.

Lorenzo serves on several boards of organizations in his community and on a national level. He is a director of the National Congress of Italian Canadians (national chapter) and serves as a board member for the Serendipity Group, a not-for-profit entity with a mission to support people struggling with mental health issues. Lorenzo is also a member of the Planning Committee of the Wateridge Village Community Association.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Lorenzo practiced at a boutique law firm in Ottawa focusing on commercial and residential real estate, leasing, private lending and corporate law.
