Mackenzie Jamieson

Mackenzie Jamieson is an associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He assists clients with protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, with a focus in the areas of patent litigation, trademark litigation and enforcement, and pharmaceutical regulatory law.

Mackenzie earned his law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where his team won the 2018 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. He served as an Executive Director of the Dalhousie Pro Bono program and represented multiple community members in the Nova Scotia Provincial Court while serving as an advocate at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic.

Prior to law school, Mackenzie completed a Master of Science in Regulatory Science, specializing in pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and biologics, from the University of Southern California. During his graduate studies, he served as an associate regulatory consultant at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and was selected as the youngest team leader in the history of the University of Southern California's Regulatory Consulting Group.
