Mandy Bedford

Mandy Bedford is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Mandy attended law school at the University of Ottawa and holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Calgary. During her legal studies, Mandy served as both an assistant and associate editor of the Ottawa Law Review, and trained for the Client Consultation Competition. She also worked as a research assistant on matters related to commercial, bankruptcy and restructuring law.

Prior to attending law school, Mandy worked in politics in various capacities, including serving in the Prime Minister’s constituency office and managing Private Members’ Bills for the Government House Leader. She also worked in the events and sponsorship department at the C.D. Howe Institute, engaging directly with stakeholders and developing topical public policy events.
