Megan D'Souza-Mathew

Megan is a London based real estate principal associate. She has over 10 years experience on advising on development and regeneration and acts for a mix of private and public sector clients on both housing-led and transport-led infrastructure.

With a focus on the senior living sector, her experience includes acting for many of the leading developers, operators and advisers in this sector in relation to acquisition, development and funding of retirement villages and care homes. She also has experience on advising on management agreements and plot sales and lease and rental model structuring.

Experience

  • Advising on a £400 million joint venture for the development of four retirement villages and the subsequent financing of two of the schemes
  • Advising on the £125 million and £150 million refinancing of two portfolios of retirement villages
  • Advising on new forms of residential long leases for multiple retirement community operators
  • Advising on the acquisition and development of numerous retirement community and care home sites through joint ventures and direct delivery
  • Advising on retirement community operating management agreements, development management agreements, sales and marketing agreements and care management agreements
  • Advising on various corporate and contractual joint ventures for the delivery of housing led development around London transport assets
