Bio
Megan Marchand is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office, where she will start her articling term in 2026. She is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in law at the Université du Québec à Montréal and will graduate in 2024. She also holds a cumulative bachelor’s degree from the Université de Montréal, having completed a minor in political science, a certificate in law and a certificate in investigation and intelligence.
During her law studies, Megan was involved in her university’s labour law committee, for which she is currently serving a second term as chair.
During her studies, Megan worked as a paralegal in employment and labour law for Québec’s public service, where she acquired research and legal drafting skills. She previously acted as a tax collection agent for Revenu Québec for over five years, which allowed her to develop her knowledge in the field of taxation.
