Minerva assists clients to manage their property portfolio, advising on disputes in an organised and efficient manner.

Minerva advises on a variety of landlord and tenant disputes, including both hostile and uncontested lease renewals, dilapidation claims, and possession claims. She also assists on telecommunications disputes, and a range of insolvency issues including liquidations and administration. Minerva's clients include property developers, retailers, public sector organisations and investment funds.

Experience

Minerva's recent experience includes:

  • Successfully defending a claim for adverse possession in Seven Sisters Station, and advice regarding an injunction at Kensal Rise Station.
  • Advising a telecoms operator to acquire new sites along the Brighton Mainline to implement 5G as part of a national project; and also successfully advising on the First-Tier Tribunal decision of On Tower UK Limited v Robert Graeme Allison and others [LC-2022-000322], where the Tribunal held that a Minimum Term Agreement was a licence, not a lease.
  • Assisting a client to bring a claim for non-payment of rent, in a dispute regarding destruction of a marina following the 'Beast from the East', which deals with the potential frustration of a lease.
