Miriam Lowry

Miriam assists a wide range of clients to manage their property portfolio and advising on disputes. In particular, she advises on a variety of landlord and tenant disputes, including both hostile and uncontested lease renewals, break notices, dilapidation claims and possession claims. In addition, Miriam regularly assists housebuilder clients by providing advice on the impact of current on proposed development and its effect real estate rights.

Miriam's work also includes working for telecoms operators. She is frequently involved in serving notices on site providers and providing tactical advice to assist operators to obtain the rights they require and, more recently, she has been involved in preparing references to the tribunal for interim rights.

Experience

  • Regularly advising a client on the assets within their large property portfolio, particularly in relation to rights under the Land and Tenant 1954 Act.
  • Advising a national house builder in relation to breach of contract claim arising under an Option Agreement.
  • Acting for a telecoms operator on a project to expand network coverage and advising in relation to rights under the Telecoms Code.
