Naryan is completing his JD at Cornell Law School in New York. Naryan is currently the vice president of the Tax Law Association, an executive of the Cornell Athletic Association and a member of the Mock Trial Board, where he competes with Cornell’s Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. He is also an associate at Big Red Ventures (BRV) , a student-run venture capital fund deploying industry-agnostic funding to early seed startups. Currently, Naryan helps BRV manage over $25 million in assets. Starting in the fall, Naryan will be studying in the masters program for EU corporate law at the Pantheon Sorbonne in Paris.
Prior to entering law school, Naryan studied law and business at Carleton University. He received the senate medal for scoring in the top 2 per cent of his graduating class and was named delegate of the year with Carleton’s competitive Model United Nations team. Outside of school, Naryan lived and worked in Hong Kong as a compliance analyst with Marbury, an elite boutique consulting firm. He represented billion-dollar telecoms groups, managed the assets of Asia’s 12th richest family and was tasked with co-managing a $12-million hedge fund.
Outside of his career, Naryan enjoys writing fiction novels, trying new foods and travelling any chance he gets.
Naryan will focus his summer term in the firm's Corporate Law Group.
