Niall Rafferty

Niall is a principal associate in the real estate finance team, who advises on the finance aspects of structured and secured real estate finance transactions in the UK and in Europe.

Niall has acted for a range of clients, including banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers advising on investment and development facilities (with a particular focus on residential and commercial development, student accommodation properties and hotel financing).

Niall's experience includes advising:

• A UK clearing bank on a £220 million investment and development facility for two owner operated hotels in Central London and on a £100 million development facility for a US operated life style hotel in London.
• A student accommodation provider on seven facility agreements (exceeding £350 million in aggregate) with a variety of lenders over a four period. The facility agreements included revolving credit facilities, investment facilities and development facilities (with forward funding aspects).
• A debt fund on six facility agreements (exceeding £400 million in aggregate) for residential development schemes throughout the United Kingdom.
