Nicole Loraas

Nicole Loraas is a law clerk in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office in the area of advocacy, with an emphasis on health law and medical defence.

Nicole has an extensive knowledge of the Rules of Procedure of the various courts. Her duties include drafting correspondence, summarizing reports and organizing, tracking, and maintaining document files and case correspondence.

Nicole started her career at the firm while completing her law clerk course at Algonquin College, and joined the team full-time in 2009. She is an active volunteer in many of the firm's community activities.

Nicole is a volunteer for many of Gowling WLG's internal and external events. She helps with organizing Team Gowling WLG in the CIBC Run for the Cure and the Law Day Run, and organizes the firm's running Club. She also volunteers for the annual United Way Campaign, various events and programs organized for the firm's professionals, staff and families each year, and the National Capital Commission's Sunday Bike Days.
