Nina Fainman-Adelman

Nina Fainman-Adelman is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. She graduated with a dual American-Canadian JD from American University and the University of Ottawa with latin honours.

During her legal studies, Nina had the opportunity to intern with the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, assist on a CUSMA panel hearing, and serve as a Senior Editor on the American University Law Review. In addition, she competed in and placed as a finalist in the Global Antitrust Invitational Moot Court Competition.

Prior to attending law school, Nina completed her MSc in Psychiatry at McGill University where she focused her research on involuntary hospitalization and treatment. During this time, she founded and chaired the McGill Mental Health & Law Conference.
