Paul Brar

Paul Brar is an associate in Gowling WLG's Calgary office, where his practice focuses on corporate law, and wills and estates.

In his corporate law practice, Paul draws upon his experience in drafting various business agreements, including purchase and sale, finance, and shareholder agreements, to provide valuable guidance to businesses dealing with complex transactions.

Paul's commitment to clients extends to his estate planning services in the area of wills and estates, where he carefully helps clients prepare their wills, personal directives, and powers of attorney to ensure that clients' wishes and interests are properly protected and managed.

In 2022, Paul earned his JD from the University of Calgary. During his time there, Paul served as a research assistant in his 2L summer, contributing to research on ESG and corporate governance under Professor Bryce Tingle. In his 1L year, he volunteered at SLA, assisting low-income clients with criminal and family law matters. Prior to law school, Paul obtained his bachelor of commerce, majoring in supply chain management and minoring in psychology, from the University of Calgary as well.
