Pouyan Zabihian

Pouyan Zabihian is a summer law student at Gowling WLG's Montreal Office. He will start articling at the firm in 2022.

Pouyan graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 2021. He obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor (B.C.L / J.D.) with a minor in Economics.

While at McGill, Pouyan was on the Dean's Honour List and was the recipient of the Bereskin & Parr prize for achieving the highest mark of his cohort in the Intellectual and Industrial Property course. Pouyan also participated in the moot competition Concours Pierre-Basile-Mignault in 2020-2021, where his team reached the final round of pleadings and received the prize for drafting the second best factum.

Throughout his studies, Pouyan has also been involved in numerous extracurricular activities. He was notably involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, Tech Law McGill and the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. During the 2020-2021 academic year, Pouyan also clerked at the Tribunal administratif du Québec.
