Ryan Collins

Ryan Collins is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office.

Ryan is a current student at University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law, enrolled in the dual JD and Certification in Common Law in French program. During his legal studies, Ryan has participated in the French Dispute Resolution Moot at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, where he obtained the Spirit of Negotiation Award.

In his second year, he served as the vice president of events for the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Runnymede Society. He has also enjoyed prior legal internship experience, which has given him an interest in real estate, commercial transactions, and litigation.

Prior to law school, Ryan obtained a major in law and society at the University of Calgary, where his studies prompted an interest in the mechanics of law and how it is influenced by a broader society.

With his extensive studies and diverse experiences, Ryan is committed to helping individuals navigate the legal system. He strives to enhance their understanding of the law and provide them with the tools needed to effectively utilize it.

Outside of law, Ryan enjoys coaching kids soccer and training for his next triathlon.
