Samantha Myers

Samantha is a partner in the corporate group, sitting in the firm's Public Companies and Capital Markets Team, specialising in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets.

Samantha has extensive experience of acting for companies, or their advisers, on IPOs and secondary transactions both on AIM and on the main market of the London Stock Exchange plc, and on transactions involving the Toronto and Australian exchanges. She regularly advises on a range of domestic and cross border M&A transactions, including joint-ventures, private M&A and public takeovers. Samantha has experience in a range of sectors including retail and consumer, gaming, life sciences, healthcare, cannabis and mining.

Samantha leads the firm's UK Cannabis Group and is a member of the World Law Group's Cannabis Group and a member of the Cannabis Industry Council. She is consistently ranked as a Top 200 Cannabis Lawyer.

Samantha's experience includes a secondment to the Corporate Finance team of N+1 Singer and a secondment to the legal team of Acision.

Samantha co-authored the AIM chapter in 'World Stock Exchanges – A Practical Guide'.

Samantha is a member of the firm's ESG team.

  • Advising Codemasters Group Holdings plc, the video game developer and publisher specialising in high quality racing games, on its admission to AIM and associated placing of £185 million, its secondary fundraising in connection with the acquisition of Seriously Mad Studios, and its £945 million ($1.2 billion) takeover by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Electronic Arts Inc.. following the lapse of the £759 million takeover offer made by Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.
  • Advising Williams Grand Prix Holdings plc on the disposal of its F1 business to BCE Limited, a fund managed by Dorilton Capital Management LLC, valuing the business at €152 million.
  • Advising Turner Pope Investments (TPI) Limited on the dual-listing of MGC Pharmaceuticals, a bio-pharma phytocannabinoid company, and secondary fundraising
  • Advising Britannia Life Sciences on its strategic partnership with a UK laboratory service provider
