Bio
Shile Adeyoyin is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.
Shile is completing her JD Common Law degree at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, Shile works as a policy analyst for Public Safety Canada’s Crime Prevention division. She has worked in the Family division at the University of Ottawa’s Legal Aid Clinic, and has participated in robust advocacy moots, such as Nelligan Law and the Julius Isaac Alexandra moot. Shile is currently the co-president of the Black Law Student Association
Prior to law school, Shile earned her bachelor’s degree in international developments and media studies at the University of Toronto. After which, she worked as a consultant for the Government of Saskatchewan.
Shile is passionate about advocacy, administrative law, human rights and policy matters. Outside these areas, she demonstrates a keen willingness to learn.
Shile will focus her summer term in the firm's Advocacy Department.
