Bio
Shivaansh Khanna is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office, currently pursuing a JD at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prior to attending law school, Shivaansh received a bachelor of arts in political science from McMaster University summa cum laude, focusing on public law and judicial studies, French and religion.
During his time at law school, Shivaansh has acted as the treasurer for the student body, managing funds for all students within all JD programs and any associated tax, business and legal complications. He also volunteered as a junior advocate for Fair Change Community Services, and worked as an interpreter for the Community & Legal Aid Services Program, promoting access to justice without language as a barrier. Shivaansh has also acted on steering committees for mooting competitions, fostering a sense of community within the academic and professional spheres by organizing events for over 300 people.
