Spencer Thompson

Spencer Thompson is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Spencer completed his Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School.

During his legal studies, Spencer co-authored and published a peer-reviewed paper in the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law. He also volunteered as a caseworker at Osgoode’s Community and Legal Aid Services Program.

Prior to law school, Spencer worked for the Lawson Health Research Institute at Parkwood Hospital in London, Ont. While at the institute, he helped coordinate a national medical research trial that was patient focused and conducted at sites across the country. The results of this randomized, control trial were analyzed via peer review and published in various medical and rehabilitation journals.
