Tanya A. Frizzell

Tanya Frizzell is a Calgary-based Gowling WLG partner with more than 15 years' experience. She practises in the areas of insurance and risk management, personal injury and commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on insurance defence work.

The scope of her insurance practice includes representing and advising clients in various insurance disputes, including insurance coverage, personal injury claims, fatality claims, property losses, SEF 44 claims, commercial host claims, occupier's liability claims, product liability claims and professional negligence claims.

Tanya takes a proactive approach to litigation and seeks to resolve disputes as expeditiously as possible. She has represented her clients before all levels of court in Alberta as well as the Alberta Securities Commission, and has extensive experience with various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
