Tim Sharp helps clients to navigate the planning system, negotiate favourable planning-related consents and neutralise threats to their developments.

Tim's practice focuses on planning, highways and compulsory purchase matters. He has acted for both public and private sectors on numerous high profile projects including tall buildings, energy and infrastructure schemes, retail, leisure and residential developments involving public inquiries and planning litigation.

Experience

Advising Frasers Projects on Vauxhall Sky Gardens, a residential tall building in South London.

Acted for Orion Land & Leisure in successfully defending a High Court challenge to its planning permission for the regeneration of Shepherds Bush Market in West London.

Advising on the planning, highways and compulsory purchase aspects of an extension to the Arndale Centre in Eastbourne.

Regularly providing advice to Sainsbury's in respect of store extensions, new stores and revisions to existing assets.

Advising the Malaysian consortium, Battersea Power Station Development Company, on planning, highways and legal matters on the £8 billion redevelopment of Battersea Power Station.

Providing strategic advice to energy and infrastructure developers in respect of promoting and resisting developments via public inquiries and the Development Consent Order process.
