Tom Richards

Tom Richards is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Calgary office.  He maintains an exclusive management-side labour, employment and human rights practice in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.

He has experience in representing and advising employers in both unionized and non-unionized settings.  This experience includes representing and advising employers in wrongful dismissal claims, grievance arbitrations, labour board matters and human rights complaints.  

Tom also helps employers prepare and review employment agreements and workplace policies.   

Prior to joining Gowling WLG Tom worked at other leading regional and international law firms in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Tom is an active member in his community, and has held leadership roles in cultural and advocacy organizations.  He also served as President of the Law Students’ Association at the University of Saskatchewan.
