Bio
Yebin Shin is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Intellectual Property Group.
Yebin completed her first year of the JD program at the University of Toronto. During her studies, Yebin was involved with the Future of Law Lab, a research group focused on cybersecurity and data encryption in healthcare settings.
Prior to entering law school, Yebin completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University. As an undergraduate, she conducted research on breast cancer and EDI within the post-graduate medical education program. Following her graduation, she worked as a law clerk for a real estate firm.
