Zoya Khan

Zoya Khan is a London-based associate who advises clients in respect of various aspects of real estate work including sales and acquisitions and landlord and tenant management work. Sectors include offices, retail and residential and commercial development. She also has experience of commercial and residential property finance and refinance transactions, acting for both borrower and lender.

Zoya has developed wide-ranging legal experience having trained at Gowling WLG. As part of her training contract, Zoya successfully completed a valuable secondment at Transport for London (TfL), advising on a variety of property and planning matters including assisting on joint venture projects for the delivery of affordable housing.

Experience

  • Acting for the developer on a complex scheme consisting of a mixed use development including a hotel and commercial units with residential housing at Berwick Street, London. The gross development value of the project is in excess of £5 million.
  • Acting for a local authority client for the redevelopment of an existing stadium to provide residential housing and the delivery of a new football stadium. The redevelopment is backed by a loan from Homes England and the development will include other facilities such as a health centre and a community hub.
  • Acting for Southend on Sea Borough Council on its acquisition of Victoria Shopping Centre for £10 million and ongoing lease management work.
