Five Gowling WLG lawyers from the firm's France and Germany offices have been named 'Best Lawyers®' in the 12th Edition of the international peer review publication.

Lawyers from the firm's Paris, Munich and Stuttgart offices are awarded the title of 'Best Lawyers®' in France and Germany for their legal expertise, as well as their ethics and professionalism of the highest calibre, named across six speciality areas including Real Estate, Corporate, Tech and Intellectual Property law.

Partners Andreas Woelfle (Stuttgart) and Manuela Finger (Munich), secured further individual success, with each recognised for their expertise in two legal categories.

Best Lawyers® is one of the oldest and most respected peer review publications in the legal profession. The annual list of outstanding lawyers is compiled through an unbiased legal referrals process, surveying tens of thousands of the industry's leading figures.

Recognition comes following 'Best Lawyers®' success for Gowling WLG lawyers in the UK, as 36 lawyers are named across 19 practice areas, including one 'Lawyer of the Year' award, and in Russia, having been named as the Intellectual Property 'Law Firm of the Year' in 2021, with six lawyers named across a total 13 rankings in multiple IP-related practice areas.

Each lawyer has been recognised for market-leading expertise in their specialist area. The full list of those named in the guide is as follows:
