Ten new partners appointed at Gowling WLG
Gowling WLG is delighted to announce the appointment of 10 new partners.
The international law firm's latest round of promotions will see Daniel Leather, Toni Weston, Catherine Naylor, Helen Davenport, Sam Beighton, Kieran Laird, Jocelyn Paulley, Christopher Stiles, Joanne Tibbott, and Gaëlle Le Breton all join the partnership on 1 May 2019.
Daniel Leather and Toni Weston are directors in Gowling WLG's 400-strong global real estate practice. Daniel specialises in housing, development and re-generation, and Toni is a key member of the firm's planning team.
Gowling WLG's Dispute Resolution Group (DRG) will be strengthened with the promotion of commercial litigation lawyers Catherine Naylor (with expertise including contentious trusts and fraud) and Helen Davenport (leading adviser in the tech sector on cyber risk and IT/data issues) and EU, Trade and Competition lawyer Sam Beighton.
Kieran Laird is a public law and regulatory specialist and Head of Constitutional Affairs within Gowling WLG's Brexit Unit. Jocelyn Paulley is a director in the commercial IT and outsourcing team and a specialist in data protection, while Christopher Stiles and Joanne Tibbott are directors in the firm's leading pensions team.
Employment specialist Gaëlle Le Breton joins Gowling WLG's partnership team in France. Gaëlle has vast experience representing clients before the French employment tribunals and implementing company restructurings.

The promotions follow the lateral hires of Ben Stansfield (planning), Ian Mason (financial services regulation), Barbara Jouffa (Corporate M&A / private equity) and Antoine Pampouille (banking and finance) into the partnership in the last 12 months.
