Booker Zhang

Booker Zhang is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practicing with the Trademark Group. His practice focuses on trademark prosecution and enforcement, assisting clients with protecting and managing their intellectual property portfolios.

Booker earned his J.D. from the University of Manitoba. During his legal studies, he contributed to the Banking and Finance Law Review, volunteered with IP Osgoode as an IPilogue Writer and Content Manager, and served as vice president of the IP & Technology Law Group. In his final year, he participated in the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic and helped launch Sports and the Law in Canada.

Born and raised in China, Booker holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from the South China University of Technology. After moving to Canada, he pursued studies Agribusiness and gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Outside the office, Booker enjoys cooking, gaming, travelling, and solving escape rooms.
