Claire Van Ristell

Claire is a lawyer in the Commercial, IT and Outsourcing team, with a background in risk management and technology. She is a member of the firm's Tech team and advises clients on a broad range of matters.

With a specialist focus on data protection, Claire regularly advises UK-based and international clients on UK GDPR compliance and adherence with evolving guidance from the UK's independent regulator for data protection, the Information Commissioner's Office. She has extensive experience in drafting and advising on an array of data privacy documentation such as internal compliance policies, data protection impact assessments, privacy notices, cookie policies, data sharing agreements and data processing agreements.
