Danielle Giansante is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office and is currently pursuing a JD at the University of Ottawa in the English Common Law Program.
Prior to attending law school, Danielle received a bachelor of arts and science from the University of Guelph focused on biology and international development. The combined degree ignited Danielle’s passion for exploring the intersection between science & technology and the law – an interest she continues to pursue as a summer student at Gowling WLG.
During law school, Danielle worked as a student case worker for Pro Bono Students Canada, providing legal information and support to low-income clients in the Ottawa community. She also worked as an assistant editor for the University of Ottawa Law Review. Following her first year of legal studies, Danielle worked as a summer student with the in-house counsel for Dexterra Group, where she gained valuable experience in business law assisting in the closing of large transactions.
