Heather Fisher

Heather Fisher is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office, practising in the areas of restructuring & insolvency and commercial litigation. Her practice focuses on corporate restructurings, complex commercial litigation, and class actions.

Heather advises and represents creditors, debtors, court-appointed officers and other stakeholders in all types of restructuring and commercial litigation proceedings. She has appeared before all levels of court, including the Superior Court of Justice and Commercial List, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Heather was recognized in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada (2025 and 2026) for Restructuring and Insolvency Law.

She is also active in the legal community, serving on the Commercial List Users Committee, as vice chair of The Advocates’ Society’s Insolvency Litigation Practice Group, and on the executive of Gowling WLG’s national women’s network.
