Joanna Rhodes

Joanna advises on a variety of contentious matters including contentious insolvency, fraud, asset tracing and general commercial litigation. Many of the disputes Joanna has worked on have an international aspect to them, which involves working with Gowling WLG's international offices, as well as directly with clients around the world.

Joanna acts for insolvency officeholders (based in the UK and abroad), creditors, directors / former directors and debtors across the range of insolvency processes, and the complex claims that can arise out of them, including fraud and asset recovery matters. She also advises on a range of general commercial disputes, predominantly in the High Court, including contractual disputes, warranty claims, tort claims and jurisdictional disputes, and has acted for a range of clients including investment banks, individuals and multi-national businesses.

Joanna is a member of the R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
