
Bio
Jojo Johnson is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office.
She completed her JD at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During her legal studies, Jojo worked as a research assistant for Professor Lee at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law on a legal pedagogy project, as well as a teaching assistant Professor Hania at the Ted Rogers School of Management for the Environmental Law and Business course. She was a member of the Women’s Legal Education Association, a volunteer for the consumer protection clinic at Pro Bono Ontario and volunteered with the LAWS Program.
Prior to law school, Jojo completed her concurrent education degree with a bachelor of arts and bachelor of education from Brock University, as well as a master of education from OISE at the University of Toronto. She has worked as an educator in various independent and private schools in the Greater Toronto Area. She also ran a successful tutoring business for seven years, supporting children with their unique educational goals.
Outside of the office, Jojo enjoys long distance running, reading mystery novels, and golfing with family and friends.
