Julie L. Wilson

Julie L. Wilson is a Legal Resources & Innovation Lawyer in the Waterloo Region office of Gowling WLG. She practises in the area of business law.

Julie is part of the team of business law lawyers within the Innovation and Knowledge Programs group. In this role, she serves as an internal consultant to professionals across the firm, delivering both traditional and innovative solutions for their commercial, corporate and other business law issues. Julie also develops and maintains annotated model precedents for the extensive precedents system used by professionals across the firm.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, she practised in the financial services and real estate law departments for a large Canadian law firm.

Julie is passionate about issues related to diversity, inclusion and mental health. She serves as co-lead of the firm's Our People First: Mental Health Strategy and chairs the Communications Committee of its Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council.

Julie is a director of the Elora Singers and Three Centuries Festival.
