Kaitlin Mak

Kaitlin Mak (she/her) is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office.
Kaitlin will be entering her third year at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she is a senior editor at the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and volunteers as a junior caseworker with the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP).
Prior to attending law school, Kaitlin earned an Honours BA in legal studies and business from the University of Waterloo (UW). As part of UW’s Co-operative Program, Kaitlin worked for a variety of startup tech businesses in Toronto, where she gained an appreciation for the complete life cycle of startup companies.
Kaitlin is dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion work. She is passionate about student leadership and community building to promote these core values.
When she is not in the office, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her book club and following Formula 1.
