Kimberley Miller is a Senior Associate (Chartered Legal Executive) in our real estate group.

She advises and acts for registered providers of social and affordable housing (both not-for-profit and for-profit). Kimberley provides expert support to her registered provider clients in the delivery of new social and affordable homes through development and section 106 unit acquisitions on a golden brick and turn-key basis.

Kimberley has extensive previous experience of working with house builders, promoters and developers in relation to assembling sites for residential development. Having wide ranging experience acting on both sides of a transaction, Kimberley understands the key issues for both parties and takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to unlocking them.

Kimberley's clients include: Legal & General Affordable Homes, Sanctuary Group, Fox Hound Capital and Barnardo's.

Expérience

Advising Legal & General Affordable Homes in relation to a wide range of matters, including land-led, section 106 and open market acquisitions at turn-key and golden-brick stage.
Working with Sanctuary Group on the delivery of its Homes England and GLA development programmes, including acquisition, funding, tax and structuring and planning and infrastructure.
Advising Fox Hound Capital on the acquisition of large portfolios of residential properties and their onward sale to a fund for conversion and use as homelessness accommodation. The properties acquired have ranged from family homes through multi-bedroom shared accommodation to blocks of flats, with varied and complex title and planning issues for resolution.
Providing a national children's charity with legal due diligence support on a project to deliver affordable homes for young people leaving care (on a pro bono basis).
