Mack Dumba

Mack Dumba is an associate in Gowling WLG's Calgary office, practicing in the areas of corporate commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets.

Mack completed his JD at the University of Saskatchewan, where he competed in the National Family Law Negotiation Competition, placing first in both the team and individual categories. He now serves as an advisor to the university's Dispute Resolution Moot Team. Prior to law school, Mack earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Finance from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Mack is an engaging and authentic individual, quick-thinking and adaptable, with a genuine ability to connect with others. His strong advocacy skills, paired with a hardworking demeanor, allow him to excel while always keeping his clients' best interests at heart.

Mack has a particular enthusiasm for start-ups. His experience as a co-founder of a tech start-up, combined with his background in banking and financial consulting, gives him a unique, client-focused perspective in the practice of corporate commercial law.
