
Bio
Miles Hunter is a summer student based in Gowling WLG's Calgary office.
He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan. Miles previously studied law and society at the University of Calgary, where he was accepted early into the JD program. During his time there, he was a dedicated student-athlete, competing as a starting member of the University of Calgary’s varsity men’s tennis team and earning the U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian distinction.
Miles brings a range of professional experience. He served as an editor on the Saskatchewan Law Review and has taught tennis, in addition to holding roles at several Calgary-based organizations, including Athennian, Beakerhead and Earls Tin Palace.
Miles is drawn to the legal profession by a desire to solve complex problems while working directly with people. He is particularly interested in commercial litigation and remains open to exploring a wide range of legal opportunities as he builds his career.
