Natasha Gidaro is counsel in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office, practising in the Advertising & Product Regulatory Group.
Natasha’s practice encompasses a broad range of commercial and advertising law matters for a diverse client base in technology and consumer goods and services (manufacturers and retailers).
Harnessing many years of in-house experience, Natasha’s practice focuses on providing business-focused advice to help her clients manage risk and solve challenging direct-to-consumer marketing and advertising law issues, including marketing copy review, packaging and labelling review, consumer protection law compliance, social media legal issues, contest design review, greenwashing and environmental claims review, e-commerce, and Canada’s anti-spam legislation.
Natasha also has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, including sponsorship agreements, talent agreements, marketing agreements, distribution agreements, and various product and service agreements.
Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Natasha worked in-house as senior counsel to one of the world’s largest food, snack and beverage corporations, as well as one of the world’s largest technology companies.
