Nicole Sapieha

Nicole Sapieha is an associate in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office, where she is a member of the firm's Employment, Labour & Equalities group. Her practice encompasses employment law, professional regulatory matters, and dispute resolution.

In her employment practice, Nicole acts for employers on human resources, human rights, and privacy issues across the full employment relationship, from hiring through performance management, termination, and post-employment obligations. She advises individuals, businesses, and professional organizations on workplace matters and disputes, and represents clients at every stage of the dispute resolution process.

Nicole also regularly advises and represents healthcare professionals in matters involving professional conduct, discipline, competence, and regulatory compliance. She guides clients through investigations and the broader regulatory framework governing health professions, and regularly counsels healthcare professionals and organizations on proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Nicole began her career in commercial and civil litigation and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. That experience continues to inform every aspect of her practice.
