Ollie Carpenter

Ollie is a London-based associate in the Intellectual Property team, with a Masters degree in Chemistry. He advises clients on intellectual property rights, with a particular emphasis on patent matters.

He has worked on a number of patent litigation matters across a variety of sectors including, life sciences, consumer electronics and renewable energy. Particularly, his experience includes working on some high-profile pharmaceutical patent infringement and revocation actions in these fields, including in respect of RNA / DNA technology and subunit vaccines.

He has experience in acting for clients on matters of multi-jurisdictional nature involving both management / co-ordination roles alongside providing UK tailored advice.

He also has experience of advising on freedom to operate analyses, entitlement actions, contractual issues, preliminary injunctions and trade secret matters. Further, in addition to working on a number of UK High Court matters he is currently working on a UPC case in respect of a patent infringement / invalidity suit in the life science sector.
